The Facts About LEVITRA

LEVITRA is used to treat erection problems with men. If you have difficulty getting or maintaining an erection during sexual activity, you should talk to your doctor about LEVITRA. Many patients have found success with this medication.

What If I miss a dose?

You should take LEVITRA when you need it. Take it 60 minutes before sexual activity. You will not have to take it every day, so you will not be on a dosing schedule.

How Do I Know If I Overdosed?

If you think you may have taken too much, you should seek medical attention right away. The symptoms of overdose include muscle pain, back pain or vision problems.

Should I Be Concerned About Side Effects?

Many people take LEVITRA and they do not experience horrible side effects. If you are concerned about the side effects, you can ask your doctor to start you off on a lower dose to see how you react to the medication.

You must seek emergency medical help if you experience sudden vision loss. If you have an allergic reaction to the medication such as difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of the face, tongue, lips or throat, call your doctor or go to the emergency room.

During sex, if you become nauseated, dizzy, or you have numbness, pain, tingling in the chest, neck, arms or jaw, call your doctor as soon as possible. You may be experiencing a serious side effect of the medication.

You should stop using the medication if you have vision problems, hearing loss, ringing in the ears, chest pain, pain in your arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, a sick feeling, irregular heartbeat, swelling in the ankles, feet or hands, shortness of breath, feeling lightheaded, fainting, painful erection or one that lasts for longer than 4 hours, or a seizure.

You may experience side effects that are less serious such as warmth or redness in your neck, face or chest, stuffy nose, headache, memory problems, upset stomach or back pain.
